Cookie Policy — SoundDeck

The short versiongetsounddeck.com sets zero cookies. We keep a handful of preferences in your browser’s local storage — and apart from the one that remembers your choice, only if you allow it. No ads, no analytics, no trackers.

01What we use

Cookies are small files websites store in your browser and send back with every request. We don’t set any.

Instead, we use localStorage, a storage area in your browser that only our pages can read. Nothing in it is sent to our servers or shared with anyone. It stays on your device until you or your browser delete it.

This is the complete list. If a key isn’t here, we don’t set it.

Essential storage is needed to respect your choice and is always active. Functional storage is only written after you allow it — via “Accept All” or the Preferences toggle. Without it, every feature still works, it just forgets your settings when you reload.

03No tracking, ever

We don’t use analytics, advertising, social media pixels, fingerprinting or any third-party cookies. Visiting getsounddeck.com doesn’t get you tracked across other websites.

Our CDN, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as __cf_bm) if it needs to tell humans from bots during an attack. It doesn’t track you and expires within 30 minutes. See our Privacy Policy for how Cloudflare processes requests.

04Change your choice

You can change your mind at any time. Turning off functional storage deletes every functional key listed above straight away.

05Clear it in your browser

You can also delete everything we store from your browser settings:

Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies → See all site data and permissions → search “getsounddeck.com” → Delete.
Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data → See all cookies and site data.
Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data.
Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
